In this project, the visualization company Interspectral, Additive Manufacturing Center of Competence at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery (SIT) in Finspång and Manufacturing Technology Center (TTC) in Karlskoga collaborate to develop a new visualization tool for 3D X-ray data with the purpose of refining and demonstrating the technology and disseminating information and knowledge of industrial 3D X-ray to Swedish industrial companies. The background is the need for new forms of quality control in additive manufacturing (3D printers for metal in production systems).
