Radiologists and pathologists are under increasing pressure to be able to deliver to the level that is in demand. Many today put their trust in different AI based support systems, but access to the training data needed for system development is severely limited, even if available. This project aims to develop and publish an open image database with standardized annotations for mainly tumor tissue, whose outlines are precisely drawn, and labeled. The project is run by Sectra together with ContextVision and the Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV).
